Established in 1872, Yellowstone has been capturing the imaginations of visitors for over 150 years. On this 2-day adventure, you’ll discover what makes this park so special - from the wildlife-filled valleys and roaring waterfalls to the steaming hot springs.
Each day will begin with a convenient pick up in West Yellowstone, Gardiner, or Island Park. You’ll board a comfortable, climate-controlled vehicle before making your way into Yellowstone.
Day 1
Day 1 is all about wildlife watching! Travelling along the park’s northern loop, your guide will take you to one of the best places to see wildlife: Lamar Valley. Using state-of-the-art binoculars and spotting scopes, you’ll search the hills for wildlife. This lush valley is sometimes called America’s Serengeti for its large population of bison, pronghorn, elk, and more. If you’re lucky, you may spot a grizzly bear foraging for roots or one of the park’s elusive wolf packs!
In addition to Lamar Valley, you’ll also visit Mammoth Hot Springs and (time permitting) Norris Geyser Basin’s legendary Steamboat Geyser.
Day 2
Explore the wonders of Yellowstone’s lower loop! Your day starts by exploring Yellowstone’s geysers at hot springs. Watch in awe as the Old Faithful Geyser tosses boiling water into the air, see Grand Prismatic Spring, and walk past bubbling mud pots. Then, continue your way around the loop and pass by the pristine shores of Yellowstone Lake.
For the grand finale, you’ll experience Lower Falls and the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. Watch in awe as this 300-foot waterfall plummets into an orange, yellow, and pink-hued canyon. You have to see it to believe it!
